Aim: To accelerate the restoration and regeneration of the native bush and related ecosystems of the area, primarily through more effective pest control

  • Supported by Landcare Trust, Northland Regional Council, Kiwi Coast, Reconnecting Northland, QEII National Trust
  • Trapper – Rowan Taylor
  • Community Pest Control Area:
  1. Extension of traplines to create a wildlife corridor north to the coast and to the east
  2. Special projects, such as a blitz on possums at the landscape level
  3. Continued support for individual landowners
