Help kiwi thrive while following the real lives and adventures of wild kiwi on the Kiwi Coast!
A handful of wild Northland kiwi are fitted with tiny radio transmitters to help monitor their survival, breeding and dispersal. These kiwi are free to roam and your kiwi sponsorship can help them do so! Each month we will share updates about the real lives and adventures of kiwi as they face the challenges of staking out a territory, finding a mate and surviving in the wild.
Where will they wander next…? Who will be first to find a mate? Or who seems content, enjoying a bachelor lifestyle on his private Tutukaka beach …? As a Follow the Kiwi Sponsor you will receive news, updates, photos and event invites FIRST!
Your sponsorship will help Kiwi Coast Trust support and enable community, iwi and hapu-led kiwi projects to carry out pest control, engage landowners in caring for kiwi and coordinate kiwi care across the Northland Region. Together we can ensure kiwi are free to roam and able to thrive in the wild for generations to come.
Pay just $10 for a month. When you signup, you will receive a Kiwi Coast card in the post and will be added to our “Follow a Kiwi” updates and monthly newsletter. If you tick ‘this is a gift’ the card and emails will be sent to the person you nominate and will include your gift message.
