The 2015 Northland Pest Control Workshop was a huge success with over 100 people coming along to hear about the latest pest control technology, find out what local projects are achieving, and share skills and ideas during the practical demonstrations.
The NZ Landcare Trust held the annual Northland Pest Control Workshop on June 14 at the Barge Park Events Centre in Maunu. These annual workshops have now been held by NZLT for over 10 years and are very popular with those involved in eradicating pest animals such as rats, possums, stoats and feral cats to protect native forest and wildlife in Northland, whether as an individual landowner or as a coordinated Landcare Group.
Over 37 Landcare Groups were represented, including many groups involved in the Kiwi Coast, making it a great day to network and meet new people.
