On May 3rd a live kiwi is coming to Taheke on the Kiwi Coast!
This will be a juvenile, wild kiwi that has reached its goal weight on the Matakohe-Limestone Island kiwi creche and is ready to return to the mainland. You are invited to come along and meet this kiwi up close and hear all about how to help kiwi thrive.
After the event, the kiwi will be released at a designated safe spot elsewhere on the Kiwi Coast.
