Kiwi Coast & dodoland Join Forces to Protect Kiwi

Buy a Kiwi. Save a Kiwi.

Kiwi Coast is proud to announce it’s new partnership with dodoland, the creators of the EUGY 3D wildlife puzzle models. The partnership supports wild kiwi conservation in Northland via dodoland’s Giving Back Programme that links specific EUGY models with conservation partners.

A portion of every sale of the Brown Kiwi EUGY now goes directly to Kiwi Coast. The funding will help protect kiwi and grow the network of community and hapū led conservation projects across the region.

“The Brown Kiwi EUGY was already a favourite,” says Hoon Kim, founder of dodoland. “Now it helps protect the real birds by supporting those doing the work on the ground.”

Kiwi Coast works alongside hapū, iwi, landowners, and local groups to protect wild kiwi in their natural habitat. The network stretches more than 291 km from Mangawhai in the south to the Aupōuri Peninsula in the Far North, covering over 280,000 hectares.

“This partnership gives people an easy way to support conservation and help Northland’s wild kiwi thrive,” says Ngaire Sullivan, Kiwi Coast Coordinator. “Every purchase helps fund real action, right where it’s needed.”

Each Brown Kiwi EUGY model is made from responsibly sourced cardboard and printed with non-toxic ink. It also includes fun facts about the brown kiwi, so people can learn while they build.

EUGY models have received international recognition for their creative design, including a Red Dot Design Award. With over 130 models in the range, EUGY offers a wide selection of animals and characters.

Through its Giving Back Programme, dodoland has partnered with 18 conservation and community organisations. Each is supported by a specific EUGY model that champions their cause. Kiwi Coast is the latest to join the programme, with the Brown Kiwi EUGY now helping to support wild kiwi conservation in Northland.

You can purchase your own EUGY brown kiwi puzzle with either Kiwi Coast or dodoland and have fun building your own kiwi while helping to save those in the wild.
